đ Why Join Us?
- This is your chance to join Doccla at a key stage in our growth.
- Weâre building the category leader in Virtual Care and Remote Patient Monitoring.
- Youâll be part of a highly entrepreneurial, missionâdriven team that combines expertise across clinical, technical, commercial, and operational domains.
- Weâre solving real problems for patients and health systems and growing fast.
đ§ââď¸ What Youâll Do as a Technical Program Manager
Youâll be the connective tissue across engineering and the wider business ensuring crossâteam and crossâdepartment work actually lands. This isnât a project management role with a clipboard; youâll need genuine technical depth to understand what teams are building, spot risks before they escalate, and earn the trust of the engineers you work alongside. Youâll report to the VP Engineering and operate as one of their key delegation points, taking ownership of the complex, crossâcutting work that doesnât fit neatly into any single team.
The bulk of your time will be spent:
- Managing crossâdepartment dependencies, tracking and unblocking work that spans engineering teams, IT, vendors, regulatory, and other departments. When something sits between teams, you own getting it unstuck and reported on.
- Driving engineeringâwide initiatives from audit preparation and compliance coordination to hackdays and process improvement. You take the organising burden off engineering leadership and make things happen.
- Supporting audit and regulatory readiness, coordinating engineeringâs contribution to MDR audits, nonâconformity remediation, and compliance work. You donât need to be a regulatory expert, but you need to understand the technical implications and keep everything on track.
- Improving how engineering operates: identifying process gaps, proposing concrete improvements, and driving them through to completion. Youâre not just flagging problemsâyouâre fixing them.
- Chasing down the unglamorous stuff: vendor contracts and billing, infrastructure projects, cost management, IT dependencies. The work that falls between the cracks and makes everything else harder if nobody owns it.
- Keeping the VP Engineering informed, providing clear, honest visibility into the state of crossâcutting work so leadership can make good decisions without needing to chase.
â What Experience Youâll Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in a Technical Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role within a startup organisation; youâve coordinated complex, multiâteam work and delivered it.
- Experience working across departments, not just within engineering; youâve navigated vendor management, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to get things done.
- Enough technical depth to understand what engineering teams are building, follow architectural discussions, and ask the right questions when something doesnât add up.
- Experience supporting audit or regulatory processes in a complianceâheavy environment (healthcare, medical device, or fintech experience is a strong plus).
- A track record of improving processes youâve identified what âŚ
đĄ What Weâre Looking For
- Someone who takes real ownership of crossâcutting problems; you donât wait for someone to assign you work, you see what needs doing and pick it up.
- A natural connector; you build relationships across departments and make crossâteam collaboration easier for everyone, not harder.
- The ability to be technically credible with engineers while also communicating clearly with nonâtechnical stakeholders. You translate between worlds.
- A pragmatic operator; you know the difference between a process that helps and a process that slows people down. You add just enough structure to make things work.
- Someone who thrives on the unglamorous, essential work: chasing dependencies, coordinating audits, managing vendor transitions. You find satisfaction in making the machine run smoothly.
- Strong communication skills; you keep people informed, flag risks early, and provide honest, clear updates without being chased.
- The ability to enhance productivity with AI tooling such as Claude and Copilot, and help drive adoption across the organisation.
đŻ Skills & Attributes
- Curious and kind, always thinking the best of others and doing your best to help rather than complain.
- Naturally âIn It Togetherâ; you build trust across teams, default to openness, and make collaboration the path of least resistance.
- Never afraid to âOwn Itâ; you take accountability for outcomes, chase things down relentlessly, and donât let work fall through the cracks.
- âPatient Firstâ in everything; you understand that the compliance and regulatory work you coordinate directly protects patient safety.
- Pragmatic and organised; you bring clarity to chaos without creating bureaucracy.
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and a deep commitment to getting things done properly.
