Technical Program Manager

About

In this key role, you are the architect of the next generation of autonomous defense. You drive the development and implementation of mini-UAVs, loitering munitions, and counter-UAV systems. Your added value lies in your bridging function: you transform visionary technology roadmaps into real defense capabilities and position the company as a central player in the Swiss drone ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Strategic expansion: Further development of national defense capabilities through innovative drone concepts (Strike, Interceptor, Counter-UAV).
• Business Development: Initiation of new drone projects and active participation in Swiss drone initiatives.
• Stakeholder management: Building and maintaining a robust network within military and civilian security authorities, as well as negotiations with partners.
• Bid Management: Professional support and management of complex tendering processes (VBS/Procurement).
• Execution: Building and operationally managing implementation teams for won projects.
• Tech Advisory: Supporting product management through in-depth technology roadmaps and specialist expertise.

Qualifications

• Academic background: Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in the fields of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or a comparable technical discipline.
• Industry experience: Several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of UAS/drones – from development to operational application.
• Network: Existing contacts within the Swiss drone community or in the security policy environment are a strong plus.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial thinking, high level of initiative and the ability to negotiate confidently in a strategically demanding environment.
• Languages: Fluent German and English.
