Technical Program Manager

About

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to support an Autonomy Engineering team in delivering critical improvements across Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, TeleGuidance, Planning & Controls, Mapping, and Collision Avoidance. This is a project-based role focused on planning, execution, KPI tracking, and enabling engineering teams to achieve key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level project goals into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
• Independently drive execution of cross-functional initiatives focused on improving autonomous driving behavior.
• Support program development efforts for TeleGuidance and Routing teams.
• Identify project risks proactively and develop mitigation plans with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level status updates, including risks, progress, and accomplishments.
• Drive autonomy software and mapping content releases by collaborating with autonomy and cross-functional teams.
• Standardize frameworks and automate processes to improve program execution efficiency.
• Track and report KPIs and engineering metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of program management experience with a focus on software development projects.
• Proven track record of independently leading complex cross-functional programs.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, and risk matrices.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or aerospace environments.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems KPIs and engineering metrics.
• Prior experience in contract or consulting roles within fast-paced technology environments.
