Technical Project Director

Role Overview

• Drive customer outcomes
• Lead metrics-driven project management (not only report but manage ahead)
• Widespread technical appreciations across cloud, data, apps, platforms etc.
• Stakeholder business to reach management as an authoritative pm.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution

• Oversee multiple technology programs/projects within Financial Services Vertical
• Ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
• Conduct daily/weekly delivery reviews to track progress, risks, and dependencies
• Ensure adherence to customer-defined ways of working and governance
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Establish and drive structured governance cadence (daily, weekly, monthly reviews)
• Act as the first point of accountability for delivery
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities and align technology delivery
• Build strong relationships and ensure high client satisfaction

Escalation & Risk Management

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks across programs
• Own and manage escalations end-to-end, including customer communication
• Demonstrate strong ability to influence and reassure clients during critical situations

Commercial Ownership

• Support P&L (top line and bottom line) for the engagement
• Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost control
• Support and contribute to proposals, solutioning, and new business opportunities

Resourcing & Talent Management

• Work closely with competency and recruitment teams for efficient fulfilment
• Manage and mentor delivery managers and technical leads
• Build a high-performing, accountable delivery organization

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Promote and drive AI adoption in SDLC to improve productivity, quality, and timelines
• Encourage a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency initiatives

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong working knowledge across Microsoft technology stack, Java ecosystems, enterprise ERP solutions, and cloud-native technologies
• Ability to engage in technical and architectural discussions with clients and teams
• Experience in enterprise-scale program delivery
