Technical Project Manager
Signature Consultants
About the role
About
Seeking a Technical Project Manager who thrives in building structure where little exists, learns systems deeply, and partners closely with technical teams to deliver scalable, well-coordinated solutions. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond tracking timelines-someone who wants to understand how systems work and why decisions are made.
Initially, this role will focus heavily on infrastructure and cloud-related initiatives, including Informatica migrations to the cloud and implementations of enterprise monitoring tools. Over time, the role will expand to support and coordinate work across application development, testing, and other technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own complex technical projects end to end, from loosely defined ideas through execution, delivery, and stabilization.
- Partner closely with infrastructure, applications, QA/testing, data, and vendors to improve coordination and execution across teams.
- Bring organization and clarity to environments with multiple moving parts and competing priorities.
- Actively learn and understand the technical architecture, tools, and platforms being implemented (not just manage the schedule).
- Drive planning, dependency mapping, risk management, and communication for cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead current initiatives including:
- Informatica migrations to cloud environments
- Implementation and rollout of monitoring and observability software
- Identify gaps in process, documentation, and ownership-and help build repeatable frameworks that scale.
- Translate technical concepts into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain project artifacts such as roadmaps, RAID logs, timelines, and status reports-but adapt them to fit the work, not the other way around.
- Support governance, change management, and compliance expectations where applicable.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role supporting infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn software platforms, tools, and technical workflows.
- Proven ability to bring structure to ambiguous or underorganized environments.
- Experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams (infrastructure, applications, testing, vendors, etc.).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to balance detail and clarity for different audiences.
- Comfortable managing projects where requirements evolve and documentation is incomplete.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud migrations or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with Informatica (or similar ETL/data integration tools).
- Exposure to monitoring, observability, or infrastructure management tools.
- Experience working in lean or stretched PMO environments.
- Background in regulated or mission-driven organizations.
