Our client is an international specialist for the modernization and overhaul of hydropower plants. With around 250 employees in Switzerland, the company offers a well-founded engineering environment in the renewable energy sector. Your Mission
You will bear the overall technical responsibility for complex modernization projects of large hydropower plants. As the central interface between engineering, suppliers, and customers, you will control the entire process from planning to delivery, ensuring that quality, deadlines, and technical specifications are met precisely.
Your Responsibilities
- Engineering Excellence: You will manage all engineering activities along the overall project planning and guarantee compliance with all technical specifications.
- Process Ownership: You will bear full responsibility for the design and development processes – quality, cost-efficiency, and tight timelines.
- Supply Chain & Quality: You will create precise technical procurement documents, conduct negotiations with suppliers, and ensure the timely, error-free delivery of components.
- Customer Management: You will act as the central, reliable point of contact for the customer.
Your Profile
Technical Foundations (Must-haves):
- Completed degree as a Mechanical Engineer (FH or HF).
- Solid professional experience in project management within industrial plant construction.
- Demonstrable expertise in turbine and/or steel water construction.
- Fluent German and English language skills (at least Level B2).

- Leadership in Process: You show assertiveness in demanding situations and keep a cool head even under pressure.
- Communication Brilliance: You present yourself professionally, reliably, and with strong negotiation skills to international partners and customers.
- Solution-Oriented: A highly structured way of working combined with a hands-on mentality.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of French and/or Italian is a strong plus for the Swiss and Southern European market.
