To strengthen our E-Mobility team, Vattenfall Smarter Living GmbH is looking for an experienced and dedicated Technical Project Manager for the location Berlin, Munich or Hamburg in a fixed-term full-time position.

Main Tasks of the Position

  • You will be responsible for the technical execution of our public charging infrastructure projects.
  • You will create, review, and coordinate technical specifications and performance specifications.
  • You will obtain, compare, and evaluate offers regarding technical feasibility, quality, and costs.
  • You will develop tendering strategies and awarding concepts together with procurement and specialist departments.
  • You will carry out technical clarifications with suppliers, network operators, and authorities.
  • You will act as an interface between project management, engineering, procurement, and external partners.
  • You will prepare for and participate in awarding negotiations and make recommendations.
  • You will create decision-making bases and presentations for management.
  • You will support contract and claim management in technical matters.
  • You will identify optimization potential and continuously develop processes.
  • You will be part of our dynamic team within the E-Mobility Business Unit and report to the Segmentation Lead Planning.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, preferably in the energy industry, electromobility, or infrastructure projects.
  • Sound knowledge of tendering and awarding processes (Tender Management).
  • Technical expertise in charging infrastructure, grid connections, energy technology, civil engineering, and relevant standards.
  • Experience in coordinating internal and external stakeholders (e.g., network operators, suppliers, authorities).
  • Ability to confidently create and evaluate technical specifications, offers, and tender documents.
  • Analytical, structured, and goal-oriented work style.
  • Ideally, experience in contract and claim management and MS Dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel depending on the project.
  • Driver's license class B.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
