Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and recruit qualified candidates for technical and engineering roles, including Embedded and Safety/Mission-critical systems.
- Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand technical requirements, role scope, and project context and develop tailored sourcing and screening strategies.
- Conduct initial phone and video screenings to assess technical foundation and role relevance and professional experience, communication skills, and cultural alignment.
- Build and actively manage pipelines of qualified technical candidates using LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, user groups, technical communities, Boolean searches, and targeted web-based sourcing strategies.
- Create, post, and maintain job postings across LinkedIn, job boards, company career pages, and niche technical or engineering recruitment platforms where applicable.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.
- Perform additional talent acquisition or HR-related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- A degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting technical roles, OR an educational background in an engineering discipline such as Electrical, Computer, Software, Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- Proven ability to source technical talent using LinkedIn, professional networking platforms, Boolean search techniques, web-based sourcing, referrals, and community engagement.
- Experience using modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidates, and reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when evaluating technical profiles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple open roles.
- Ability to make logical, evidence-based recommendations to hiring managers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional interaction with engineers, managers, and candidates.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior recruitment experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-reliability industries and safety-critical or regulated environments (e.g., ISO, AS9100, IEC, DO-178, DO-254).
- Familiarity with embedded software, firmware, hardware development life cycles.
- Experience recruiting in geographically distributed or remote environments.
- Exposure to technical screening methodologies or collaboration with technical interview panels.
