The Opportunity

Promation is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support full‑cycle recruitment for technical and skilled roles across the organization. This is a hands‑on recruitment role focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management within an engineering‑driven, project‑based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and skilled trade roles across the organization, including engineering (project, controls, design), manufacturing and quality, project management, sales & applications, and assembly/machine shop functions, as well as skilled trades (e.g., machinists, millwrights, electricians, technicians)
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, project needs, and candidate profiles
  • Draft and post job advertisements across appropriate recruitment platforms
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and targeted search strategies
  • Review resumes and conduct technical screening interviews
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and technical teams
  • Present qualified candidate shortlists and hiring recommendations
  • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Track requisitions, recruitment activity, and hiring metrics
  • Continuously improve sourcing and screening approaches as hiring needs evolve

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success recruiting technical roles
  • Experience recruiting within engineering, automation, manufacturing, or skilled trades environments
  • Strong technical screening capability and ability to assess candidate fit beyond resumes
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast‑paced setting
  • Familiarity with Canadian technical labour markets
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000
