About the role

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring efforts for engineering and technical positions across a variety of industries including industrial engineering, electrical engineering, controls, construction, and related technical disciplines. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering high-quality talent in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for technical and engineering roles, strong sourcing capabilities, and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting for engineering and technical positions
  • Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
  • Recruit for roles including but not limited to:
    • Structural Engineers
    • Electrical Engineers
    • Mechanical Engineers
    • Automation Engineers
    • Project Engineers
    • Engineers
    • Designers and Technicians
    • O&M roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, timelines, and hiring priorities
  • Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and database searches
  • Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate technical experience, communication skills, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, onboarding, and hiring documentation
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within ATS/CRM systems
  • Build long-term relationships with engineering professionals and passive candidates
  • Support recruiting metrics, reporting, and hiring goals
  • Represent the company professionally with clients and candidates

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience required, ideally within technical or engineering staffing
  • Strong sourcing and candidate relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand technical job descriptions and engineering terminology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruiting technologies
  • High school or equivalent education required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Staffing agency or consulting recruiting experience
  • Experience supporting large engineering firms, industrial clients, or manufacturing organizations
  • Knowledge of contract labor recruiting processes
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
