Job Summary
The Technical Recruiter – Immigration & Sponsorship will manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles with a specialized focus on candidates requiring U.S. immigration sponsorship, including H-1B and employment-based Green Card (PERM) processes. This role partners closely with immigration counsel, HR, and business leaders to ensure recruiting activities align with U.S. government compliance requirements while building strong talent pipelines across technology, data, cyber security, and risk functions.
This position is highly consultative and hands-on, involving candidate engagement, interview preparation, debrief facilitation, and advisory support to hiring managers on immigration-related recruiting strategies.
The recruiter will support approximately 10–12 active requisitions tied to Green Card cases at any given time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sponsorship-focused recruiting activities supporting H-1B and Green Card (PERM) processes across technology, data, cyber security, and risk roles
- Execute full-cycle recruiting including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate disposition tracking
- Conduct labor market testing and maintain audit-ready documentation for immigration compliance requirements
- Partner closely with immigration counsel to ensure recruiting processes meet Department of Labor and immigration regulations
- Maintain accurate records within ATS and immigration tracking systems for all sponsored roles
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on immigration constraints, timelines, and recruiting best practices
- Support H-1B filing cycles and ongoing sponsored hiring initiatives
- Deliver a strong candidate experience through interview preparation, communication, and post-interview debriefs
- Act as a talent advisor, providing market insights and strategic recruiting recommendations
- Potential to support additional technical requisitions outside of sponsorship-based hiring when capacity allows
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in technical or IT recruiting
- Direct experience supporting H-1B and/or Green Card (PERM) recruiting processes
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment-based immigration concepts and compliance requirements
- Experience recruiting for software engineering, data engineering, cybersecurity, data science, or risk roles
- Proven ability to manage detailed, audit-ready recruiting documentation
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting workflow tools
- Strong communication skills with a consultative, candidate-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with immigration attorneys or global mobility teams
- Background in financial services, enterprise technology, or highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with Department of Labor recruitment requirements and prevailing wage guidelines
- Experience in high-volume, multi-req recruiting environments
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model with in-office presence required (3–4 days per week post-training)
- Occasional flexibility required to meet immigration filing timelines and recruiting deadlines
