Our client, a premier recruitment consultancy in Enugu, Enugu, NG , is seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Recruiter Lead to build and manage a high-performing technical recruitment desk. This role is essential for sourcing and securing top-tier technology talent for our diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The Technical Recruiter Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing offers for technical roles. You will also play a key role in developing recruitment strategies, mentoring junior recruiters, and ensuring an exceptional candidate and client experience. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape, a strong network of tech professionals, and proven success in placing candidates in challenging technical positions.

Responsibilities: Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for a wide range of technical roles, including software engineers, data scientists, IT specialists, and cybersecurity professionals. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates in the competitive tech market. Conduct thorough technical screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing expert recruitment advice. Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process. Negotiate employment offers and facilitate the pre-employment screening and onboarding process. Mentor and guide junior technical recruiters, fostering their professional development. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical recruitment. Contribute to the development of employer branding initiatives to attract top tech talent. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a significant portion spent in a recruitment consultancy. Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing candidates for hard-to-fill technical roles. In-depth understanding of various technology stacks, programming languages, and IT concepts. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Leadership experience or demonstrated potential to lead a team. Knowledge of the Nigerian tech job market is a significant advantage.
