We are a fast-growing SaaS company looking for a results-driven Technical Recruiter to help us scale our engineering team. We need someone who speaks "Developer" and understands the nuances of the SaaS ecosystem—from full-stack engineers to DevOps and Product Managers.
This is a freelance role via Upwork, focusing on sourcing, vetting, and delivering high-quality technical talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Boolean search strings to identify top-tier software engineering talent.
- Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidates' technical backgrounds, project experience, and cultural fit for a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from first contact to offer.
- Provide insights on salary benchmarks and competitor talent pools within the software industry.
- Work closely with our hiring managers to understand specific technical requirements and refine "ideal candidate" personas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of experience specifically in technical recruitment (experience with SaaS companies is highly preferred).
- Expert-level knowledge of Boolean search logic and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Solid understanding of modern tech stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, AWS, Microservices).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to represent our brand professionally to high-level talent.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple open roles simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
Preferred Experience
- Experience sourcing for U.S.-based or remote-first engineering teams.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby).
- A network of pre-vetted software engineers.
