About the role
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer with strong experience in upstream oil & gas services, particularly in drilling and completions to drive sales of oilfield services and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by delivering technical solutions to clients while building and maintaining strong commercial relationships. • *Candidate must reside in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.** • *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
· Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within upstream operations.
· Serve as the interface between clients and internal technical teams.
· Deliver technical presentations to clients.
· Review well programs and operational requirements to propose optimal drilling/completion solutions.
· Lead client negotiations.
· Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
· Support field operations.
· Forecast sales, and meet defined revenue targets.
· Assist with equipment selection based on pressure rating, temperature, fluid compatibility, and operating environment.
· Recommend equipment in line with industry standards. • *REQUIREMENTS**
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related field).
· 5 years of experience in upstream oil & gas services (drilling, completions, or well services).
· Ability to interpret well programs and technical specifications.
· Strong technical knowledge of drilling tools and equipment (wireline operations) and completion systems (packers, tubing, wellheads, sand control, valves).
· Proven experience in technical sales or field engineering.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Willingness to travel to field locations.
