About

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support key rail manufacturers and operators in France and across Europe. Your role will be to influence customers, help structure tender processes, and promote our braking solutions through strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Influence the technical decision-making of OEMs and French operators.
  • Lead technical discussions, negotiations, and the structuring of tender processes.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, procurement, RAMS, and maintenance teams.
  • Define system configurations and clearly present complex technical content.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competing braking systems and market trends.
  • Anticipate customer needs (fleet renewals, tender pipelines) and help shape internal strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, RAMS, and Product Management teams.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree
  • More than 7 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering
  • Experience with French rail stakeholders (OEMs, SNCF Group, RATP) is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of EN, UIC, TSI, and ERA standards
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Fluent proficiency in French and English
  • Availability to travel
  • Legal authorization to work in EU is required.

The role can be based in any of our EMEA Brakes & Couplers location.
