Technical sales rep

A Well - Established Company in Springs seeking an experienced Technical Sales Rep to drive growth within the mining sector, focusing on opencast operations across South Africa. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and secure new business within the mining sector

• Manage long-cycle sales processes including tenders and proposals

• Build strong relationships with mine operators and contractors

• Provide technical solutions aligned to customer production targets

• Forecast sales and maintain CRM accuracy

• Represent the company at client sites, industry events, and international engagements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining equipment sales (OEM level)

• Strong knowledge of opencast mining applications

• Proven ability to close high-value, long-cycle deals

• Experience with haul trucks, excavators, and dozers

• Existing within SA in the mining sector.
