Our client, a growing Canadian defence organization, is seeking a Technical Solutions Manager to support government and law enforcement clients across Canada.

This is not a traditional sales role. The position focuses on working with existing clients, supporting incoming requests, and coordinating technical and commercial solutions with internal teams and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Solution Support

  • Act as a key point of contact for government and law enforcement clients
  • Respond to incoming requests for quotes, technical information, and timelines
  • Support ongoing client relationships (DND, RCMP, and other agencies)

Pricing & Proposal Coordination

  • Prepare and manage detailed quotes, including:
    • Supplier pricing (international OEMs)
    • Currency conversion and cost structures
    • Shipping, timelines, and margin considerations
  • Ensure all responses are accurate, timely, and aligned with client requirements

Supplier & Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with international suppliers to gather technical and pricing information
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on delivery timelines and execution
  • Manage multiple requests simultaneously and track progress to completion

Operational Support

  • Support the flow of orders from request through to confirmation
  • Assist with documentation and internal coordination
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and efficiencies

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in:
    • Account management
    • Sales operations
    • Technical coordination
    • OR government / defence-related environments
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with pricing and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with government clients or structured environments is an asset
  • Eligible for Government of Canada security clearance

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model
  • Currently remote, transitioning to a future office in East Ottawa
  • In-person presence required based on business needs
