About Our Company
Ardent Technologies, Inc. is a veteran player in the IT services industry, headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. For over two decades, we’ve focused on delivering high-level technical expertise to both the public and private sectors. We specialize in areas like data management, cybersecurity, and software engineering, often working on projects that support national security and state infrastructure. Our success comes from a commitment to precision—matching the right expert to the right mission—and maintaining a professional, collaborative environment where our team can truly make an impact.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to lead our efforts in identifying and securing top-tier IT talent. This isn't a high-volume "churn and burn" environment; it’s a strategic role that requires a deep understanding of technical skill sets and the patience to find the perfect fit for specialized government and commercial contracts. You will be responsible for managing the candidate journey from the first touchpoint to the final offer, ensuring a professional experience for every applicant. If you thrive on the technical side of recruiting and enjoy the complexity of government-focused staffing, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technical leads to define specific candidate profiles for roles like GIS specialists, cloud architects, and security analysts.
- Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, technical forums, and industry networks.
- Evaluate candidates not just on their resumes, but on their project history, technical certifications, and ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing clear updates and professional feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Navigate the nuances of federal and state labor requirements to ensure all hires are fully compliant with contract terms.
- Negotiate salary offers and benefit packages that align with industry standards and company budget.
- Track hiring metrics to help us refine our sourcing strategies and improve time-to-fill for critical roles.
Requirements
- Background: Solid experience in technical recruitment, ideally within the government contracting or IT consulting space.
- Technical Literacy: You should be able to explain the difference between various coding languages, frameworks, and security protocols to candidates.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think outside the box to find talent for niche roles that require specific geographic locations or clearances.
- Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal skills; you will be the "face" of the company to many potential hires.
- Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple open requisitions at once without letting candidate communication slip through the cracks.
- Tools: Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, various job boards, and modern recruiting software.
- Focus: A high level of integrity and attention to detail, particularly regarding candidate documentation and sensitive information.
