Technical Test Engineer

About

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Test Engineer to join our QA and Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing performance and security tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and execute Load Performance (LP) and Penetration (PEN) tests based on project requirements.
• Define and align the test scope with Architecture, Product Owner (PO), and/or Product Manager (PM).
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts tailored to technical requirements.
• Plan and conduct technical test cycles, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and document findings as defects in coordination with PO/PM.
• Prepare and deliver detailed test reports summarizing test outcomes, risks, and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical software testing, including performance and security testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and test automation tools.
• Familiarity with tools for load testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and penetration testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CEH).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Jira and test management tools.
• Languages: German (C1/C2) and English
