Project Management Officer / Technical Writer

About Us

For our client, a leading Swiss technology group, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Management Officer / Technical Writer for the location in Wangen bei Dübendorf.

Your Tasks

• Creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of technical project documentation
• Ensuring complete, up-to-date, and approvable operational documentation, proofs, manuals, and handover documents
• Structuring and standardizing technical documents, processes, and templates
• Responsibility for tools and Documentation-as-Code as well as a sustainable documentation landscape
• Close collaboration with engineering, operations, and project teams to convey complex content understandably
• Preparation and review of presentations, project documents, and decision-making bases
• Organization of document storage and ensuring consistent documentation standards
• Administrative support of projects, coordination of meetings, and minute-taking
• Participation in process optimizations and independent takeover of smaller projects

Your Profile

• Education in the field of technical writing, IT, business administration, or comparable qualification
• Sound IT know-how and experience in the technical documentation of complex systems
• Experience with Documentation-as-Code, documentation tools, and modern collaboration platforms
• Very good knowledge of structuring and standardizing technical content
• High linguistic precision, secure terminology management, and strong didactic skills
• Experience in the review and quality assurance of project and operational documentation
• Very good MS Office skills and a structured, independent way of working
• Fluent German language skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
• Clean criminal record mandatory
