Technical Writer Level 2

Tensley Consulting is seeking a Technical Writer Level 2 to support documentation efforts across systems engineering, software development, and operational environments.

About the Role

The Technical Writer will support documentation across the full lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities. This role also includes maintaining an internal documentation library, coordinating document layout and formatting, and producing reports, briefings, and training materials. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can effectively organize and communicate highly technical information.

Education / Experience

• Six (6) years of experience as a Technical Writer supporting programs of similar scope and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) additional years of Technical Writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary

$100,000-$120,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
