Technical Writer (all genders)

What You’ll Do

• Creation of customer facing technical documents such as procedures and manuals
• Maintain existing procedures and manuals to ensure availability of latest version
• General technical publications activities - taking and editing photographs, maintaining CMS database
• Collaboration with engineering (mechanical, fluid, electrical and software) and product support personnel to gather information for the creation of technical content

Who We’re Looking For

• Technical qualification - degree in a technical discipline or in technical communication
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Excellent IT knowledge, especially MS Windows and MS Office
• Excellent knowledge and advanced experience in MS Word
• Must be able to work well in a matrix environment
• Exhibits strong self-organizational skills and creativity
• A strong team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing of procedures
• Experience with Photoshop, FrameMaker and any kind of CMS system
• Experience with either production, installation, or technical support of semiconductor machinery or similar
• Familiar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability, etc.
• Appreciates learning and understanding challenges and limitations within other disciplines
