Works closely with customer engineering teams. Writes and edits technical documentation and presentation materials. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Requirements

• Experience with MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to work closely with technical engineering teams.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience as a technical writer or editor, or 10+ years of experience as a technical writer or editor in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model

• Remote: May still require occasional work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs; may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
• Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
