C² Technologies, Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to work closely with and under the supervision of the Program Manager to provide program support, reporting, and documentation management to ensure contract compliance and performance tracking.
Summary
The Technical Writer provides analytical, reporting and administrative support to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of program deliverables. This role is responsible for compiling and analyzing training and performance data, preparing required contractual reports, and supporting compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. The Technical Writer plays a key role in identifying trends, improving processes and maintaining high standards of data integrity and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Compile, analyze, and prepare program reports, including:
- Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
- Training metrics and performance data
- Track training throughput, student performance, and compliance with PWS performance thresholds
- Maintain and validate accuracy of data across reporting systems
- Identify performance trends, risks, and areas for improvement
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
- Support Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development and submission
- Assist with documentation management, version control, and recordkeeping
- Conduct internal quality assurance checks to ensure deliverables meet contract standards
- Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure all reports and deliverables are accurate and submitted on schedule
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding reporting requirements and performance metrics
Requirements
Education Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, communications, data analytics, or a related field preferred
Experience Requirement (Analytical & Program Support)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program analysis, reporting, or contract support
- Experience supporting government or DoD contracts preferred
- Experience preparing structured reports and performance documentation
Experience Requirement (Tools & Systems)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Familiarity with DoD reporting requirements and performance tracking systems
- Experience managing documentation repositories and version control systems

Work Requirement
- This is a part-time position based on program needs
- Work is performed on-site at Scott Air Force Base, IL
- Must be able to operate in a structured government contracting environment
Physical Requirement
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers and peripherals
- Ability to lift light office materials (up to 20 lbs.) as needed
