Position Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated Technical Documentation Specialist responsible for fine-tuning Swagger documentation and creating comprehensive technical documentation for emerging services. This role is integral to our migration efforts from the developer and requires an individual with strong technical documentation expertise. This position initially requires full-time dedication, transitioning to a flexible engagement as services mature.
Responsibilities
- Enhance existing Swagger documentation for our API catalog.
- Develop sequence diagrams and high-level designs (HLDs) for complex, multi-system services.
- Support technical inquiries from partners and prospects to facilitate smooth partner and customer onboarding.
- Collaborate with technical teams to document new APIs and services upon launch.
- Continuously refine and update documentation to reflect evolving service features and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical documentation, particularly within software development and API documentation.
- Expertise in using Swagger for documentation purposes.
- Strong skills in creating sequence diagrams and high-level designs.
- Excellent communication abilities to interpret and clarify technical information for varied audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a role supporting partner onboarding and technical inquiries is preferred.
Compensation
The contractor hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 - $70/hr (pay rate will not be below applicable minimum wage).
