Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Technical Writer. This Technical Writer will be responsible for documenting and enabling adoption of enterprise scale laboratory applications used by tens of thousands of employees nationwide. This role is critical to closing an immediate documentation and training gap as the organization modernizes and rewrites key lab systems. The Technical Writer will partner closely with application teams, trainers, lab operations, and stakeholders to create world class user documentation and training content that meets operational and regulatory standards across highly distributed lab environments.

• Strong ability to translate technical systems into clear, user friendly documentation.
• Experience documenting evolving systems with frequent updates.

• Ability to work cross functionally with technical teams, trainers, and business stakeholders.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly.

Responsibilities of the right candidate

• Develop and maintain user guides, SOPs, quick reference materials, and release documentation.
• Create and manage scalable training content for LMS platforms, including modular learning materials.
• Collaborate with application teams, trainers, lab operations, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy.
• Track and document system changes to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, and user experience across all materials.
• Support training initiatives through videos, walkthroughs, and interactive learning tools.
