What You’ll Do

  • Craft clear, accurate, and user-friendly manuals for a wide range of equipment.
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, and other experts to gather technical insights.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into content anyone can understand.
  • Design supporting visuals like diagrams, charts, and illustrations.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date, consistent, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Review and enhance existing materials for clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Strong grasp of technical concepts and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and graphic design tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.

Mechanical Understanding & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and document mechanical systems, including components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, drivetrains, and structural assemblies.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, exploded views, and bills of materials.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication, or assembly techniques.
  • Ability to visualize how mechanical components interact during operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
