The project focuses on developing a unified, executive-ready reporting framework for cybersecurity control domains. The role involves standardizing content, elevating writing quality, and ensuring alignment across multiple technical contributors to achieve clarity, consistency, and high-quality communication across all control domain reports.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and refine monthly Cybersecurity Control Domain one pagers.
• Collaborate with domain owners to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with templates.
• Manage the end-to-end publication cycle: submissions, timelines, validation, finalization, and distribution.
• Maintain version control and organize the repository of monthly reports.
• Develop and enhance editorial standards, templates, and style guides.
• Coach SMEs on writing quality and consistency.
• Partner with leadership to ensure reporting aligns with strategic priorities.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years as a Technical Writer, Editor, or Communications Specialist.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into concise, business-friendly language.
• Advanced editorial standards management: ability to create, maintain, and enforce style guides, templates, and tone frameworks.
• Proven experience maintaining consistency across large volumes of content.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
• Experience working in global technology or security organizations.
• Background in governance reporting or executive-level communications.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, or related field.
• Additional certifications in technical writing or cybersecurity.

Assignment Details

• Contract duration: ASAP to 07/31/2026, with a possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 2 days in the office.
