About the role

Overview

Work with a leading firm in the nuclear and power industry to support their "RISE" program. This initiative is focused on reinventing the company's supply chain organization. As a Technical Writer 2, you will play a critical role in the Policies and Procedures workstream, turning raw technical concepts into the formal documentation that will guide the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement engineers and supply chain leads to gather feedback and technical inputs.
  • Transform high-level bulleted drafts into professional, free-flowing policy and procedure documents.
  • Draft and refine 5-10 page documents covering areas such as category management, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
  • Work cross-functionally across the supply chain organization to ensure policy accuracy and clarity.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in technical writing (open to more senior candidates within budget).
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Proven ability to translate technical jargon and bulleted lists into cohesive, structured prose.
  • Ability to provide professional writing samples for review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in writing Supply Chain policies and procedures.
  • Experience in the Energy or Utility sector, specifically Nuclear Power.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, ethical sourcing, or warehouse management concepts.
