About the role
Responsibilities
- Work directly with crews and operational leaders to document current and future-state operational procedures (SOPs, work instructions, etc.).
- Conduct site and vessel visits to observe operations, validate procedures in the field, and build credibility with frontline teams.
- Collaborate with HSEQ to ensure all documentation supports hazard identification and is aligned with regulatory and industry best practices.
- Support the rollout of new processes, develop quick guides, and coach teams on successful adoption.
- Maintain document control, versioning, and continuous improvement for all operational and safety documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis, process development, or procedural documentation.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and practical procedures.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and/or HSEQ management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both frontline staff and leadership.
- Experience in marine operations, oil & gas, or other safety-critical environments is a strong asset.
Other Information
- This is a predominantly remote role with required periodic travel to operational sites in Kitimat, BC and North Vancouver, BC for critical engagement and observation.
