This includes collecting data and solving problems in a dynamic environment. You also create an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient. This involves introducing new projects that optimize everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance. In addition to safety, the most important aspect of this role is leading your team. This includes managing the performance and development of your team members, as well as organizing additional training.

Some of our employees are leaders who supervise the team working on exciting, innovative technology – some of which is unique to Amazon.
From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing a site's general maintenance and repairing essential distribution equipment, our team handles a significant portion of Amazon's technical tasks. We also ensure buildings remain compliant with legal requirements, keeping everyone safe and our sites operating at maximum efficiency. There are numerous opportunities for advancement within the RME team itself, as well as throughout Amazon.
All our activities are aimed at reducing downtime at Amazon's key operational sites so that customers receive their orders on time. We often work early mornings, late evenings, or night shifts to perform maintenance with minimal disruption. If we find a better way to perform a specific task, we have the skills and opportunities to introduce entirely new processes or groundbreaking technology like Amazon Robotics or our Complex Item Sorter.
