At Humana, our Campus Recruiting Team plays a vital role in our growth and success. We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Technology Campus Recruiter who can craft a first-rate on-campus event strategy. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication skills and possess an operational mindset to thrive in a dynamic recruiting environment.

This position focuses on early-career hiring in Technology, encompassing both internships and full-time roles. You will engage closely with technology leaders, program partners, and universities to attract, assess, and onboard top talent in software engineering, data analytics, data science, cybersecurity, and additional tech roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute a robust campus recruitment strategy for Technology roles, aligning with Humana's hiring objectives.
    • Manage and coordinate on-campus and virtual recruitment activities at 15-20 targeted universities, including networking events, information sessions, and other initiatives to attract high-quality applicants.
  • University Relationships
    • Establish and maintain strong connections with university career centers, faculty, student organizations, and tech clubs to position Humana as a premier employer for technology talent.
    • Represent Humana at career fairs and networking events.
  • Candidate Sourcing
    • Source and engage high-potential candidates for internships and entry-level technology positions across various disciplines, such as software engineering and cybersecurity.
    • Lead campus initiatives and develop captivating recruitment marketing materials and follow-up communications to appeal to prospective talents.
    • Screen resumes, administer assessments, and oversee candidate pipeline activities.
  • Data Analysis & Tracking
    • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and successes.
    • Leverage market insights to advise hiring managers on recruitment bottlenecks and strategies to encourage candidates to join.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment programs using data-driven insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of campus recruitment or university relations experience, particularly in Technology recruitment.
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time from September to mid-October, and 50% of the time from February to March for peak on-campus events.
  • Proven experience in developing relationships with universities, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Located in Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with an eye for detail, able to manage competing demands effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Fortune 500 organization or a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Proven success in planning and executing large-scale recruiting events and conferences.
  • Ability to manage internal client relationships with strong consultative and diplomatic skills.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools and platforms such as HireVue, Workday, Handshake, and Phenom.
  • Passion for technology and awareness of the evolving tech industry landscape.

Additional Information

  • Interview Format: As part of our hiring process, we will utilize HireVue technology to streamline our interviewing efforts, allowing flexibility in scheduling.
  • Remote Work Information: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required. Internet requirements for remote work include a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. Humana provides necessary telephone equipment for home-based employees.

Salary Range

$71,100 - $97,800 per year, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
