Job Description & Main Tasks

To support its growth, Yole Group is looking for a Technology & Market Analyst specialized in manufacturing processes and semiconductor equipment.

As part of our expert team, you will play a central role in delivering in-depth insights and strategic analysis focused on semiconductor manufacturing processes, including deposition techniques (CVD, PECVD, PVD), etching, photolithography, ….

In addition, you will also work on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, related subsystems and required components.

You will analyze technology trends, competitive landscapes, market dynamics, and business strategies across the semiconductor supply chain.

Location: Lyon (69), France

Travel: 3–4 times per year for international conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.

As An Analyst, Your Main Tasks Will Be To

• Oversee technology and industry insights from semiconductor manufacturing equipment market trends; subsystems and required components (e.g: optical lenses, sensors …)
• Collect data from different sources according to our internal methodologies
• Understand the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications and its consequences among the manufacturing processes
• Execute business, marketing, technology analysis within a given timeframe and budget
• Create and manage long-term relationships with customers and answer clients' inquiries
• Collect information and promote our activities in conferences and dedicated tradeshows
• Give presentations at international conferences and workshops

Requirements

• University Degree (Masters, Engineer, PhD) in electronics, microelectronics, nanotechnologies or any related field is mandatory.
• An MBA or a double degree in Business would be a real plus.
• +5/8 years of experience in manufacturing industry (fab, equipment manufacturer …)
• Some experience in the semiconductor equipment domain would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of data modelling
• Required English level: minimum CECR - C1
