About the role
Role Summary
We are looking for a Telecom OSS/BSS professional with hands-on experience in Amdocs Cramer and Amdocs Clarify (Smart Client), strong Identity & Access Management (IAM) understanding, and solid Java full stack capabilities. The ideal candidate will work on telecom service/product fulfilment and assurance use-cases, integrating OSS/BSS platforms with enterprise systems using modern integration patterns (GraphQL, REST, SOAP, Kafka). Sunrise environment experience is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom OSS/BSS & Amdocs
- Work on OSS/BSS domain processes (service provisioning, inventory, order-to-activate, trouble-to-resolve, customer care flows).
- Configure/customize Amdocs Cramer for service/resource inventory modeling and lifecycle operations.
- Support and enhance Amdocs Clarify (Smart Client) flows for customer service, case/ticket handling, and operational support.
- Perform impact analysis and support release planning for Cramer/Clarify changes (enhancements, fixes, migrations).
IAM (Identity & Access Management)
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and validate IAM controls: authentication, authorization, roles/entitlements, access reviews.
- Ensure applications comply with access policies (least privilege), and support integration with enterprise IAM tools (as applicable).
Engineering & Integration
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java + Spring Boot.
- Build UI components using React where required.
- Implement APIs and integrations using:
- GraphQL (Spring Boot with GraphQL)
- REST Web Services
- SOAP Web Services
- Apache Kafka for event-based messaging and decoupled integrations
- Apply engineering best practices: code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD collaboration, observability/logging, and performance tuning.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Work in Agile delivery (Scrum/SAFe), participate in sprint ceremonies, estimation, planning, and release readiness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, Security, Operations).
- Create/update technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
- Telecom OSS/BSS domain knowledge (basic/working proficiency as minimum)
- Amdocs Cramer (hands-on experience)
- Amdocs Clarify (Smart Client) (hands-on experience)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and implementation exposure
- Java full stack experience including:
- React
- Spring Boot
- GraphQL (Spring Boot + GraphQL)
- SOAP & REST web services
- Apache Kafka
- German language proficiency: B1/B2 (mandatory)
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Good to Have / Added Advantage
- Sunrise environment experience (applications, tooling, processes, or client ecosystem exposure)
- Exposure to telecom inventory, service activation, orchestration, fault/ticketing ecosystems
- Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway patterns
- Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD tools and automated testing practices
