Manual Data Entry and Auditing Process
Job Structure, Skills, and Process Flows
- In-depth experience with data analytics tools like Tableau, and the ability to work effectively with large data reports to ensure accuracy in Identifying cost savings opportunities and optimizing expenditures and invoice overcharges from carriers.
- In depth analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities for addressing complex challenges
- Manage high-level data reports, performing in-depth analysis of reports and communicating results to leadership, Familiarity with ServiceNow and Peoplesoft
- In-depth experience with Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, databases, PowerPoint, AI tools, and other relevant tools. SQL is good knowledge.
- Experience in developing reports, presentations, and Power BI dashboards
- Able to identify, recommend, and lead cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Superior Financial and analysis skills.
- Superior invoice analysis, reporting large data analysis and vendor payments.
- Experience in Telecom Expense Management, in managing telecom expenses, auditing telecom wireless, wired data usage and charges.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - ability to summarize and explain complex information
- Role is highly manual and involves extensive data entry from PDFs to Excel.
- Position is 80% auditing, 20% audit/categorization.
- Review of Telecommunication reports and invoices
- Job is not financial reporting but rather auditing and data processing.
- Key skills: tolerance for manual work, attention to detail
- Manual review of PDF invoices required due to lack of Excel conversion.
- Identifiers used to categorize billing types (international, excess, etc.) for pivot table analysis.
- Monthly reports from Telecommunication that do not match invoices dollar-for-dollar.
- Need accurate Excel reports from Telecommunication to align with invoices.
- Process is highly manual: audit files, extract data, enter into Excel, analyze invoices.
- Requires recording names, phone numbers, business units (e.g., NYC Transit, Metro North, LIRR), and expense causes from invoices.
- Position is not financial reporting; primarily focused on auditing and data organization.
Requirements
- 12+ month contract
- Must be local in NYC
- Must do onsite interview
- Telecommunications expense expert
- Very detailed oriented
- Excellent experience with Excel
- Ability to analyze thousands of records from AT&T, Telecommunication ETC...
- In-depth experience with data analytics tools like Tableau
