Telecommunications Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with our NC based client, are actively seeking a Sr. Telecomm Analyst – Power Engineer to support critical infrastructure tied to optical transport systems and DC power environments.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong telecommunications + power engineering background who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems.

What You’ll Be Working On: • Supporting and optimizing optical transport systems powered by DC environments • Working with rack-mounted DC battery plants, rectifiers, and power systems • Contributing to projects involving telecom infrastructure and network reliability • Partnering with cross-functional teams in a project-driven environment

What We’re Looking For: • Experience in telecommunications and power engineering systems • Hands-on work with optical transport gear • Strong understanding of DC power systems • Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for work management • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to Have: • Experience in utility or substation environments • Background working in project delivery environments • Exposure to large-scale telecom or infrastructure deployments
