About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced T24 SRE to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Temenos T24 (Transact) core banking systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong production support expertise, automation mindset, and deep understanding of T24 architecture to drive operational excellence and system stability.

Key Responsibilities: • Work efficiently as part of an international multi-disciplinary team to drive the project to completion. • Participate to the full development Agile lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release, implementation and post production support. • Provide production/L3 support for the delivered projects. • Work with the Business Analyst and Solution architects to understand the business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in the application. • Contribute / review the technical specifications. • Responsible for managing & reporting technical risks. • Control and Maintain the quality of the developments (norms & standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, code reviews) • Work with L1/L2 support team in case of emergency production issue and provide support in fixing the production incidents. • Provide guidance to team members.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Transact SRE (Scalability and Reliability tests, Data Encryption, Data Anonymization, Logging and Monitoring, Authentication and Authorization, Cybersecurity controls, etc.) • Proficiency in coding languages such as Python and Java. • Knowledge of operating systems and monitoring tools is necessary. • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control tools, and databases is required. • Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash is crucial. • Additionally, experience with Kubernetes is necessary for managing containerized applications effectively. • Hands-on experience with various Java / Python / Web technologies and frameworks: Spring (Core, Security, MVC), JPA, REST API, JMS. • And acombination of additional skills/experience in: • Docker, Kubernetes, Wildfly/Jboss • IBM MQ, Active MQ, Kafka • Cloud platform say IBM cloud, Keda, Prometheus • PostgreSQL, MySQL/MSSQL • Experience in intra and inter team collaboration to build and to deliver Web / Mobile solutions. • Hands-on experience on API related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture. • Strong knowledge about design patterns and development principles. • Good practical knowledge of design of RDBMS and SQL • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Experience and knowledge of automated testing (TDD, BDD). • Proven/previous experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Agile. • General knowledge/experience on Banking or knowledge related to Wealth Management / Private banking.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum 9+ years of experience in T24 (Temenos Transact) support / SRE / production support • Strong understanding of T24 architecture (TAFJ / TAFC environments) • Experience in handling production support and critical incident management • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems • Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or Bash) • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics, etc.) • Knowledge of job scheduling tools and batch processing in T24 • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) • Understanding of automation and DevOps practices
