Cloud Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure across our platforms. You will be responsible for protecting cloud environments, ensuring compliance, and proactively identifying security risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Define and enforce cloud security best practices
• Monitor cloud environments for threats and vulnerabilities
• Implement logging, alerting, and SIEM integrations
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) with least-privilege principles
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, container scanning)
• Implement encryption (data at rest and in transit)
• Secure secrets management (API keys, credentials)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services
• Knowledge of network security (VPCs, firewalls, VPNs)
• Hands-on experience with IAM, encryption, and key management
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security
• Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and cloud threat models

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 4 7 years of experience in cloud/security engineering
• Relevant certifications preferred (AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
