Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Temporary Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this role, you will drive the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring we attract top talent efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your recruiting skills while supporting our company’s growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates through various channels including social media management, HRIS systems/Dayforce, as well as cold calling and research methods.
- High volume of interviews per day, averaging 6-8 interviews daily
- Candidate follow-up, including interview confirmations, candidate communication and turndowns
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for temporary positions, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessments.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on employment law compliance and contracts.
- Utilize ATS platforms/Dayforce, Indeed and LinkedIn track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct talent management activities like employee orientation, employee evaluation support, and assisting with employee relations initiatives.
- Lead recruitment efforts for campus programs, executive roles, and internal staffing initiatives through targeted outreach and lead generation strategies.
- Support HR sourcing efforts by leveraging social media management tools and maintaining effective communication skills throughout the candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition with a focus on technical recruiting or executive recruiting preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills to engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliant hiring practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management for recruiting purposes and lead generation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability in relationship management, research techniques, and training & development initiatives within HR functions.
