About the role
Seeking a motivated, results-driven Seed Sales Representative to build and grow grower relationships within an assigned territory. This role focuses on consultative selling, agronomic support, and driving profitable seed sales through locally relevant products and proven systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent ag sales experience considered
- Experience in seed sales, agronomy sales, or agricultural field sales
- Solid understanding of crop production, agronomy, and local grower markets
- Knowledge of consultative selling practices and competitive ag products
- Familiarity with agricultural regulations and stewardship requirements
Skills
- 4+ years of seed sales experience
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building ability
- Effective communicator
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Comfortable using basic technology and Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver’s license; Clean driving record
- Ability to manage a territory, track activity, and travel as needed
- Established book of business preferred
