Job Details

Location: Dübendorf Workload: 100% Start Date: Immediately or by arrangement Duration: One year (with option for extension)

Duties

• Responsibility for the planning, execution, and documentation of tests and software solutions
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of test cases, test protocols, and test evidence
• Implementation and further development of test automation as well as creation and maintenance of test scripting
• Execution of API and database testing as well as ensuring quality along modern development processes
• Participation in the integration of tests into CI/CD and DevOps processes as well as support for deployment and release processes
• Ensuring suitable test environments, maintenance of configuration management for test tools, and adherence to quality management specifications
• Active participation in the optimization of test processes, test methodology, and technical quality standards

Skills

• Higher vocational training in computer science or technically adept career changers with several years of experience in software testing
• Sound experience as a Test Engineer, particularly in test automation, test scripting, and structured testing
• Very good knowledge of test methodology and strategy as well as agile software development and modern testing approaches
• Experience in API and database testing as well as a good understanding of modern development and deployment processes
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, and GitLab is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment of collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent German; English and/or French skills are an advantage
• Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
