We have an immediate opening available for a Test Engineer at an outstanding manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Your Role

• Perform mechanical and electrical component testing
• Conduct verification and qualification testing (insulation resistance, dielectric strength, partial discharge testing, end of life / degradation)
• Create, revise, and maintain test procedures
• Analyze test results and generate detailed technical engineering reports and memos
• Assist with failure analysis and support problem solving efforts
• Maintain accurate records of test data and results

Background Profile

• BS in Engineering or related technical degree
• 2+ years of experience in Test / Validation Engineering
• Solid understanding of electrical principles related to high voltage and high current systems
• Desired experience with testing standards EIA-364/ DO-160, EN2591, or similar
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to work through complex problems
• Ability to interpret test results and communicate findings through clear, concise technical reports
