Test Engineer (63–85K)
We have an immediate opening available for a Test Engineer at an outstanding manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Your Role
- Perform mechanical and electrical component testing
- Conduct verification and qualification testing (insulation resistance, dielectric strength, partial discharge testing, end of life / degradation)
- Create, revise, and maintain test procedures
- Analyze test results and generate detailed technical engineering reports and memos
- Assist with failure analysis and support problem solving efforts
- Maintain accurate records of test data and results
Background Profile
- BS in Engineering or related technical degree
- 2+ years of experience in Test / Validation Engineering
- Solid understanding of electrical principles related to high voltage and high current systems
- Desired experience with testing standards EIA-364/ DO-160, EN2591, or similar
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to work through complex problems
- Ability to interpret test results and communicate findings through clear, concise technical reports
