Test Engineer

Your role in the team

• As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for analyzing customer data, defining test strategies, calculating costs, designing test routines, as well as developing hardware and software.
• In addition, you will be responsible for the implementation and validation of test systems.
• You are also responsible for advising clients on testability and design optimization as well as sales strategy.
• Consulting clients on test strategy and optimal PCB design.
• Creating test engineering quotations.
• Development and commissioning of programs for our test systems (functional testing, ICT, Flying Probe, JTAG Boundary Scan, HASS temperature testing advantageous).
• Preparation of data for the adapter construction and implementation of additional hardware.
• Documentation of the work performed in the form of circuit diagrams, wiring lists, etc.
• Development and implementation of application-specific testing software.
• International collaboration with the other Variosystems locations.

• You have good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology.
• You have programming skills (Visual Basic .NET) and are familiar with databases (SQL) or at least interested in deepening your knowledge in this area.
• You have a general technical understanding as well as a high quality awareness.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills, systemic thinking, and creativity.
• Knowledge of project management methods as well as excellent communication skills complete your profile.

Education

• You have successfully completed a technical training or an equivalent qualification.
