Test engineer / HW specialist Onboard flash function

Your role in the team

• Conducting functional tests in the environment of an onboard flash function using project-specific test tools.
• Design, implementation, and further development of automated tests with a project-specific toolset.
• Maintenance, servicing, and modifications of the test tracks operated at the Wolfsburg site.
• Performing SW and HW upgrades, as well as ensuring the remote capability of the test systems.
• Close coordination with development, test management, and adjacent specialist areas.
• Creation of test reports and technical documentation.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• ISTQB certification desirable.
• Structured, independent working style, as well as high technical affinity.
• Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities.
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1), as well as very good knowledge of English (at least C1).

Experience

• Experience in automotive software or control unit environment.
• Ideally, experience with common automotive test, diagnosis, and reporting tools (e.g., iDEX, Teo, ENNA, Sys42, Azure DevOps, JIRA).
• Experience in test automation (e.g., ENNA, Python) is desirable.

Education

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification (Technician).
