About Us

For our customer in Munich, a leading manufacturer of SMT placement machines, we are looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Munich as part of temporary employment, who conducts analyses and tests to secure and optimize mechatronic systems and supports the further development of test processes.

What to Expect:

• Carrying out analyses and tests to secure and optimize mechatronic systems from placement machines regarding dynamics, accuracy, robustness, and quality, as well as issuing the associated approvals.
• Independent measurement execution with optical measuring instruments, force measuring units, geometric measuring systems.
• Evaluation and documentation of measurement results.
• Measurement execution according to standards and norms.
• Execution of endurance tests.
• Planning of inspection intervals.
• Execution of measurements at the inspection intervals.
• Execution of service work on wear-prone components.
• Operation of the test stand software.
• Test planning for quantity, test environment, measuring equipment.
• Application of the Six Sigma method for determining quantity and evaluating the significance.
• Programming of control sequences for test sequences of prototypes, continuous increase of the automation level through test automation and automated test evaluation.
• Checking and evaluating the measurement accuracy of sensors and measuring equipment.
• Management of the calibration of existing measuring equipment.
• Management of hardware deliveries with partial coverage of qualification through individual measurements.
• Evaluation of test results according to accuracy, number of subjects, maturity level, and test execution.
• Conceptual design for test fixtures for measuring actively or non-actively operated mechatronic subsystems such as linear guides, bearings, carriers, optics, etc.

What You Bring:

• Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study and several years of professional experience
• Several years of experience in development projects in interdisciplinary teams desirable
• Experience in the development of mechatronic assemblies
• Teamwork and assertiveness, planning and organizational skills
• Analytical and results-oriented
• Very good German and English skills
• Collaboration with international teams
