Test Engineer - Wireless Mobile Network

We’re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Switzerland. This role involves end-to-end testing of mobile devices, IoT products, and wireless networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and seamless integration with operator networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-launch and field testing for smartphones, FWA routers, and IoT devices on 5G, LTE, VoLTE, and VoWiFi networks.
• Conduct chipset validation (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Spreadtrum) and ensure device compatibility across multiple networks.
• Execute RF and network optimization tasks, including drive testing, KPI analysis, and troubleshooting coverage/interference issues.
• Work with QXDM, QPST, Nemo Outdoor, Wireshark, and other tools for log analysis and debugging.
• Test network protocols such as VoNR, SRVCC, CSFB, and carrier aggregation to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with operators, RD teams, and vendors (e.g., Nokia, HMD Global, Motorola, STC, ZAIN, MOBILY) to validate devices.
• Track issues and manage test cases using JIRA and defect management platforms.

Skill Set Required

• 5+ years of experience in mobile device testing, network optimization, or RF engineering.
• Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G NR, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IMS technologies.
• Hands-on experience with protocol analysis, network KPIs, and RF performance tuning.
• Proficiency in testing tools (QXDM, Nemo Outdoor, Wireshark, NetAct, JIRA, etc.).
• Experience working with mobile operators, vendors, and chipset manufacturers.
• Fluent in English.
