Testing Program Manager and Educational Advisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Testing Program Manager and Educational Advisor. This position is pivotal in managing the testing program and providing educational guidance to military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Air Force Military Personnel Testing System (AFMPTS) and Voluntary Education Testing Program.
• Provide expert educational and vocational counseling that incorporates testing requirements and assists in establishing career plans and goals.
• Counsel military personnel, dependents, and eligible civilian personnel about military and academic testing programs, along with career development and voluntary education opportunities.
• Administer various installation level testing programs, including military tests (WAPS, DLPT, AFQOT, CDC, EDPT, TBAS, AFRAT, HAZMAT, etc.), Credit-by-Exam programs (CLEP/DSST), and civilian testing programs (FAA, Pearson Vue), in compliance with all relevant directives.
• Manage the Foreign Language Proficiency Pay & Bonus (FLPP/FLPB) programs.
• Administer military personnel tests related to specific needs in procurement, aptitude, promotion, and qualification standards.
• Support the Education & Training Section by performing various administrative duties as needed.
