Threat Analyst

Arvato Systems is a leading IT service provider for Cyber Security, Cloud, and Digital Transformation. As a Threat Analyst, you are a central part of our Cyber Defense Organization. You analyze current threats, assess their relevance for our customers, and translate threat intelligence into concrete protection, detection, and response measures. You work closely with SOC, DFIR, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collect, evaluate, and correlate threat information from internal and external sources such as SIEM, sensors, OSINT, and TI feeds
• Analyze current threat actors, campaigns, TTPs, and vulnerabilities, and derive risks for customer environments
• Create threat intelligence reports, dossiers, IOCs, and target-group-specific management briefings
• Derive concrete detection use cases, hypotheses, and recommendations for SOC, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering
• Actively support security incidents through TI analysis, scoping, attribution, and impact assessment
• Maintain and further develop incident-specific playbooks such as Ransomware, BEC, or Cloud Account Takeover
• Support lessons learned measures for continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities

Qualifications

• Completed studies in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, DFIR, SOC, or related cyber security disciplines
• Apply your expertise in the analysis of attacker TTPs, threat campaigns, and modern attack methods
• Experience with TI platforms, threat feeds, and common security tooling
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and in the understandable preparation of complex issues
• Strong writing and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Team spirit, initiative, and willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call duty
