Mold Maker / Mold Maintenance Technician

Overview

A leading manufacturer in the medical and industrial products space is seeking a skilled Mold Maker / Mold Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of injection molding tools. This hands‑on role focuses on disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of molds to ensure reliable, high‑quality production.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble injection molds with a high level of workmanship.
• Perform routine mold maintenance and document all activities accurately.
• Follow established procedures to ensure molds are returned to production in optimal condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety and health guidelines.
• Support mold makers and senior technicians as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commitment to safety at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Mechanical experience in one or more of the following:
  • Mold shop
  • Machine shop
  • Automotive repair
  • Equipment maintenance
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with experienced mold makers.
• Skilled in disassembly and assembly of precision mold components.
• Experience cleaning metal parts using isopropyl alcohol and aqueous cleaning solutions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
