Our client is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant or IATI-qualified professional to join its busy Finance team. Based in Naas, this role sits within a high-volume rebates function, managing supplier income streams and ensuring accurate financial reporting across a large national network.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in reconciling supplier turnover, managing rebate calculations, and supporting VAT compliance. This is a hands-on position involving regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners, alongside contributing to reporting and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile supplier turnover against the General Ledger to ensure accurate rebate calculations
• Prepare and submit bi-monthly Irish and quarterly UK VAT returns
• Post monthly rebate journals to customer accounts
• Liaise with members nationwide to resolve rebate and trading queries
• Produce reports for senior management and support ad hoc finance projects
• Assist with year-end close and audit processes

What We’re Looking For

• IATI qualified or part-qualified accountant
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
